Class description

Join Karissa and Rebecca for a deeply nurturing International Women’s Day yoga and sound bath. This session is designed to honor and celebrate the strength, resilience and interconnectedness of women in a space of gentle movement, relaxation and sound healing.

We’ll begin with a soft, beginner-friendly yoga practice, allowing you to release tension, connect with your breath, and cultivate ease within the body. The class will conclude with an extended savasana, where you’ll be invited to rest deeply while immersed in the soothing vibrations of a sound bath—a practice that promotes deep relaxation and energetic balance.

This class is suitable for all levels, including newcomers to yoga. Yoga blankets will be provided, but please bring your own mat and any additional props you’d like for comfort (such as a pillow blocks or blankets). We look forward to holding space, moving and celebrating with you on this special day!

About your hosts

Rebecca Guaraldi is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, trained through YogaRenew. She specializes in gentle yoga, yin yoga, and restorative yoga, offering a calm and supportive space where students can relax, restore, and reconnect with themselves. Rebecca’s approach focuses on mindful movement, breath awareness, and deep relaxation, making her classes accessible to all levels. Whether you're looking to unwind, release tension, or simply take a pause, she welcomes you to join her on the mat.

Karissa Hilliard is a Shamanic Reiki Master dedicated to guiding others on their own healing journeys. Rather than claiming to heal, she serves as a conduit between heaven and earth, helping individuals uncover their inner light and master their shadows. With a mission to empower others, Karissa aims to help people rediscover the beauty in themselves and the universe, spreading light and love wherever she goes. Through her own transformative experiences, she understands the darkness and strives to lead others out of it, offering wisdom, compassion and guidance.
